Wales rugby player Jamie Roberts and his fiancée Nicole Ramson have announced the birth of their baby boy.
The Dragons star revealed the news on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
The 34-year-old wrote: “Welcoming TOMOS RHYS ROBERTS to the world. 9lb 4oz of prime welsh beef. Be crossing the gainline in no time. Nicole bossed it. Strange 48hrs with no visiting for papa but delighted to have them home. Layla getting jealous. Life feels complete.”
Messages of congratulations have come flooding in already.
“Epic bud! Congrats to you all!!” said former Wales skipper Sam Warburton on Instagram.
“Big congrats doc,” messaged Brian O’Driscoll.
“Congrats mate did you deliver it yourself?” joked former international team-mate Lee Byrne.
“Awesome. Congrats bro,” added Wales star Willis Halaholo.
Roberts proposed to Nicole last January, just an hour before moving to Cape Town for a stint playing in Super Rugby with the Stormers.
Now back in Wales, the couple announced they were having a baby last October.
The international announced the news on his social media accounts, posting a picture of a pregnant Nicole with the caption “Inbound in February”.
Australian-born Nicole is founder and director of Chelsea Creative, a boutique design studio based in central London.
At the time she also posted a video on her Instagram – with the pair cutting into a blue cake to discover they were expecting a boy.
