FREDDIE WOODMAN 6
Was barely troubled and did the basics well until Yakou Meite headed home. Made a fine save to deny Lucas Joao and nothing he could do about the second goal.
KYLE NAUGHTON 6
Fairly solid showing from the right-back who made a number of important tackles. Was subbed as Swansea pushed.
BEN CABANGO 7
Had a great chance to score in the first minute and produced a fine tackle on Meite in the first half. Plenty of clearances and tackles in what was a great display.
MARC GUEHI 7
Made his fair share of tackles and interceptions as Swansea looked solid before conceding. Missed a good chance in the second half but did well defensively.
JAKE BIDWELL 6
Solid for half an hour but didn’t cover himself in glory for Yakou Meite’s opener. Did well otherwise and was remarkably composed in the build-up to Andre Ayew’s goal.
MATT GRIMES 7
A really composed display from the captain who was decent defensively and impressed on the ball in all areas of the pitch. Wise head when it was needed.
JAY FULTON 6
Made tackles for fun in the middle of the park and played his part in Jamal Lowe’s goal. Decent shift.
CONOR HOURIHANE 5
Set-piece deliveries were OK but he was fortunate to get away with a loose pass in the first half. Swans needed a bit more. Subbed.
WAYNE ROUTLEDGE 5
One or two decent moments of link-up play aside, Routledge was quiet in the opening half. Unable to offer much in the second half before being replaced.
LIAM CULLEN 6
Looked very confident in the opening stages on what was his first league start in four months. However, he looked increasingly isolated. Big chance went wide with a header. Subbed, but an encouraging display after a long time out.
JAMAL LOWE 7
Some decent moments in the Reading half and cleared off his own line too. On hand to lash home the equaliser and hit the post late on.
Andre Ayew (for Cullen) – Outstanding. Sublime skill for the first goal and netted the second. Wonderful impact. – Star Man 8
Morgan Whittaker (for Routledge) – Looked lively in the final third. Good shift. 6
Connor Roberts (for Naughton) – Some good energy as Swansea pushed in the final quarter of the game. 6
Korey Smith (for Hourihane) – Too late to make an impact. N/A
