Dillon Phillips 4
The goals flew past him and there was little he could do with them, really. But his distribution was a tad shaky again.
Curtis Nelson 3
Made one excellent block early on and another in the second half, but was part of a backline which looked far too open.
Aden Flint 2
Has been immense in the last few months, but not at the races at all at Hillsborough. Let his man go for the first and lazy marking for the fourth.
Ciaron Brown 2
The first time he has looked out of his depth, really. Was skipped past on a number of occasions and was so poor on the ball. Aimlessly hoofing it again and again.
Tom Sang 4
Had little chance to show what he could do in attack, but wasn’t troubled too often down his side in comparison.
Will Vaulks 3
A few uncharacteristically bad balls into the box and didn’t really assert himself as he usually does. Midfield was non-existent and provided little attacking threat.
Marlon Pack 3
Did not protect the back four as he should have. So many times Barry Bannan and others picked up pockets of space where he should have been.
Joe Ralls 4
Offered some semblance of tenacity when moved into the middle, but still had little impact on proceedings.
Leandro Bacuna 2
Snatched at every chance he had. Needed to produce at the top end of the pitch but simply didn’t.
Jonny Williams 3
Hacked down a few times and won a few free-kicks, but the number of times he took a backwards touch was infuriating.
Kieffer Moore 3
Offered nothing but fed off scraps. Service to him was awful.
Harry Wilson (on for Williams 72) 6 (star man) – Looked Cardiff’s best player. Hit the post and brought a liveliness to the attack.
Sheyi Ojo (on for Bacuna 72) 3 – Did little of note.
Max Watters 3 – Same as the above.
