SAG-AFTRA (The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television & Radio Artists) andformer WWE Superstar Zelina Vega both revealed on Twitter Wednesday that they had a “powerful conversation” about unionization in professional wrestling.
Last Friday, Gabrielle Carteris, the President of labor union for SAG-AFTRA reached out to Zelina Vega on Twitter after news broke of Vega’s release from WWE.
Shortly before her release was announced, Vega (real name Thea Trinidad Budgen) posted on Twitter that she supports unionization.
Vega, along with Paige and AJ Styles, was one of the more prominent WWE Superstars impacted by the recent edict about Twitch accounts.
Vega recently launched an OnlyFans account where pictures of her wearing cosplay outfits can be purchased. OnlyFans has a strict non-nude policy.
