Two more people have been arrested in Holyhead in connection with the murder of a 58-year-old man.
The duo, a 38-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, are being held at custody suites in North Wales.
Meanwhile, a 47-year-old local man, who was held on Tuesday night in connection with the incident, has now been re-arrested on suspicion of murder.
DCI Brian Kearney, for North Wales Police, said: “Clearly our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the victim and we continue to request that their privacy is respected at this very tragic time.
“We fully appreciate the shock this has caused with our community and we are continuing to appeal to anyone who has any information to come forward.
“Early this morning, officers from the investigation team arrested a 38-year-old local man on suspicion of murder.
“A 44-year-old woman was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder, again in the Holyhead area.”
The 58-year-old man was badly assaulted in the Thomas Street/Mount Pleasant between 10am and 11am on Tuesday, November 17.
A spokesman for North Wales Police previously said it is believed the man managed to walk a short distance to his partner’s address near Holborn Road in Holyhead.
The man was taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd and later transferred to the Royal Stoke University Hospital where he died on Thursday, November 19.
Three people are now being held in connection with this murder.
