Jets’ O-Line a Disaster in Zach Wilson’s Debut

The Jets’ offensive line is a big issue.

Bueller? Bueller? The Jets’ offensive line was almost nonexistent blocking for rookie quarterback Zach Wilson on Sunday. Wilson held his own in his first game, but he was scrambling all day. The Jets lost 19-14 and started the season with a dud in Charlotte as Christian McCaffrey had his way. Sam Darnold was all smiles against his former squad.

To look back at what happened to the Jets in Week 1, we bring you a new episode of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast with me and Brian Costello.

Gang’s All Here Podcast with Jake & Coz:

  • O-LINE/BECTON: How bad is this offensive line? Will they get better? How big is the Mekhi Becton injury? Who replaces him? When will he be back?
  • WILSON: How was Wilson in his debut? Wilson and Corey Davis will have a nice connection. Why is Denzel Mims not getting more snaps?
  • PANTHERS: Darnold was solid with targets and protection. Their defense gave the Jets fits the entire first half.
  • BETTING/FANTASY w/JEREMY LAYTON: Jeremy breaks down some of the overreactions from Week 1 in betting and fantasy.
