Los Angeles will forever hold a special place in Christen Harper’s heart.
On Wednesday, the girlfriend of Lions quarterback Jared Goff penned a special message to the city that brought the pair together, as the signal-caller readies for his next NFL chapter after being traded by the Rams.
“So grateful LA brought us together and connected us with amazing friends and lifelong memories,” Harper posted to her Instagram story.
“I will never forget all the fun times, from my first NFL game to heading to the Super Bowl, I have had the best time cheering on this man.
Thank you LA, Ready for the next chapter.”
In January, the Rams acquired veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, 33, from the Lions, trading 26-year-old Goff to Detroit, along with two future first-round draft picks and a third-rounder. The deal became official on Thursday after the start of the new league year.
Harper reacted to the news on social media, writing: “@Jaredgoff I love you so much and so excited this new adventure.”
Harper, an actress and model, was first linked to Goff around the Rams’ 2019 Super Bowl appearance. Los Angeles fell to the New England Patriots, 13-3.
Over the summer, Harper also made an appearance with Goff on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.”
