What’s the latest team news?
Cardiff City will likely be able to welcome Ryan Giles back from the off, which will be a big boost for the Bluebirds.
Giles was fit enough only for the bench on Saturday, having missed the last three matches due to contracting Covid-19, but made an instant impact after coming on.
Joe Ralls could be welcomed back, which would again serve as a boost, however Isaac Vassell and Lee Tomlin are both out still.
Meanwhile, the Baggies will be without defender Dara O’Shea for the trip to Cardiff, with the Irishman considered a long-term absentee.
Matthew Clarke is also expected to be missing for the visitors.
Former Bluebird Kenneth Zohore is in training and will be assessed ahead of the clash.
What have the managers said?
Cardiff City manager Mick McCarthy: “I was concerned when we lost the first one. Then we came back and won (against Nottingham Forest) but I’m even more concerned now, by how we are playing and how we get back on track.
“That’s all we can try and do on Tuesday (against West Brom) because it’s coming thick and fast.
“When we started it looked like [we had a squad capable of pushing for play-offs] and after the run of results it doesn’t look like that.
“That’s something we’ve got to change and we have to start trying to change it on Tuesday.”
West Brom manager Valerien Ismael: “We need to keep going now and it’s a great feeling to win. Now we have an away game and we need to recover.
“I think from the first matchday we have showed the mentality to come from behind at Bournemouth, we did the same at Preston. We know we have the quality and we must stay focused on our performance.
“It’s great to have some situations because you know that even when the opponent scores we can come back at any time. It’s important to stay positive and stay focused on the job and finish ruthlessly.”
